ClearRates provides information about savings rates and about gilts and Treasury bills as data. It does not give financial advice, a personal recommendation, or an invitation to buy an investment.
Listed savings rates are checked automatically each day against the provider's own site. They can still be wrong or out of date. Check the provider before you open an account. A stale badge means we have not re-checked the rate inside 48 hours. Sample rows, where any remain, are not shown in the public tables.
Gilt prices can fall. Capital is at risk if a gilt is sold before maturity. Nothing on the gilts page is an offer or a recommendation.
The API, the pages and the underlying software are proprietary. All rights reserved. You may link to a public page. You may not copy the database or present sample rates as live rates. Attribution is required if you quote a figure: “ClearRates, clearrates.co.uk”, with the date on the row.
To the extent the law allows, ClearRates is not liable for a decision you take based on the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Rate alerts and the optional newsletter are email you asked for. Each has its own consent wording. You can unsubscribe in one click. Free alert email is capped at one message per address per day. Those emails are information, not advice.
